Get Ready, Get Set, Let's Go . . . Create Rock Haven Farm!
Hi Everyone!happy Sunday to you.
Thanks so much for joining me! I’m Sandy Sheldon. I’m feeling so excited as I set off on this journey, and doubly excited that you’re along with me. One thing about Interior Design and Home Renovation is that there are always surprises and challenges along the way. There are those days when sure bliss unfolds and everything seems to go perfectly; and then there are those days when disaster lurks around the corner. I’m hoping for lots of bliss and little disaster; but whatever happens, I’m happy I have you with me!
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Growing up on a cattle ranch in an old, rickety shingle-style farm house in the middle of Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley Wine Country, I think I was magically infused with a love of old homes. I was exposed to renovations by my parents who were successful do-it-yourselfers. In that way, creative, functional projects became second nature to me.
Fast forward a few decades. With many home renovations and Interior Design projects under my belt, I am a middle-aged, married mother of two. Armed with my enthusiastic, supportive husband and two eager teenagers who love what I do, I find myself on the threshold of my greatest renovation project ever!
MY PASSION FOR INTERIOR DESIGN
Over the years, friends and family have told me they wished they could see my projects before and after, and watch the process of how I transform them. So, with that in mind, I created this blog to tell the story of how I do what I do. I will share with you all the ups and downs, tears and joys of Interior Design and Home Renovation. You will see all the before’s and after’s and everything in between. We will travel together as I look for inspiration, create my design concepts, and follow each step of the building process.
So, join me as I take a broken down home and the beautiful acreage it resides on, and turn it into a venue for rock music; a haven for my family and friends; and a farm for abandoned animals - Rock Haven Farm! Photos coming soon!
Until next time, good health and happiness to you all!
