The "mazy" guest bedroom

The "Mazy" is on the second floor with beautiful views of the property from the front of the home. With a close proximity to the chicken coop, it's not unusual to here a cock-a-doodle-doo in the morning.

 

Why the name "Mazy"? We have many deer here at the farm, however, one in particular was very special. She seemed to have a desire to be close to the house, and she was always by herself, or with her best friend "Jack" the rabbit (see them together below). I often wondered if she had a relationship with the previous owner from the time she was little. She seemed very comfortable on the property, and I often found here looking in the windows. One time we were away for several days, and when I returned, I looked at the security camera footage that showed her coming up on the porch and looking through the glass front door into the foyer. It was as if she was looking for us. She was so special to me. Sadly, she was hit by a car and passed away on the street. I was heart broken. From this room, I would often see her out front, always alone or with Jack. I thought it was fitting to name the room after her.
